This course develops the basics for later study. This is equivalent to around IELTS 3.5 if completed successfully.
Learning Outcomes:
- Understand and use a variety of basic past, present and future tenses
- Understand and use essential English vocabulary
- Understand and use basic complex sentence structures
- Understand your own learning needs
Monday, Wednesday, Friday 6-9pm for 15 weeks, 135 hours in total. Payment can be made over 3 parts.
- Past simple, past continuous, present perfect, future simple, present tenses
- 1st conditional and 2nd conditional
- Relative clauses
- Vocab on family, work, towns and cities, transport, hobbies and interests, education etc.
- Writing practice for a variety of writing styles
- Speaking practice for communication, fluency and pronunciation
