Level booster courses improve your grammar and vocabulary range and start to prepare your English level for the exam. This is equivalent to a 4.0-4.5 at IELTS if completed successfully.

The courses focus on speaking and listening and reading, grammar and vocabulary is normally set for homework so it can be used in class.

Course details:

Tuesday, Thursday, Sunday 6-9pm for 15 weeks = 135hrs. Payment is in 3 parts.

This course develops the essential grammar and vocabulary

• Speaking practice and pronunciation advice
• Past tenses and narrative tenses
• Present tenses
• Future tenses
• Conditionals 1, 2 and 3
• Relative clauses
• Complex sentences using because, however, for example etc

Different writing styles

• Vocabulary across a range of topics - sport, money, family, personality, transport etc

Modals

• Language of recommendation
• Language of deduction
• Language of possibility and ability
